Types of Paving
When it comes to paving, there are a number of styles and options available. It is important to have a good idea of what you are looking for. There are many different stone slabs that you can purchase, including cobble, bluestone and flagstone. Seen most often in older streets, cobblestone is a fabulous way of creating a unique appearance. For a more modern approach, then bluestone is a great choice. The material has a blue tone and is natural. Finally, flagstones are available in different shapes, sizes and colours, offering you a way of customising according to your specific tastes. To add to this, they are safe and will always stay cool in direct sunlight.

Around the Castletown Area
The town of Castletown sits in the south of the Isle of Man and was originally the capital of the area until 1869. Settlement here can be traced back into at least 1090 and the population is estimated to be around 3,000. Over the years Castletown has been used as a fortress, most notably by Robert the Bruce.
There are plenty of places to visit, regardless of what your interests are. Dominating the town, Castle Rushen is a medieval castle which was originally built for a Viking King. There is also the Old House of Keys and the Nautical Museum.
